David K. Hart Company Receives U.S. Patent For Line Hole Punch
System
ROSEMONT, PA - James Riley, President of David K. Hart Company,
is proud to announce the awarding of U.S. Patent No. 5,842,401
for their freewheeling, long run line hole punch system. The patent
was given because of the innovative engineering and split ring
design of the line hole punch system - the line hole rings are
split, enabling the press operator to easily install or remove
them at any time without removing the punch shafts. Unlike other
systems, the punch shaft is not locked down and continues to turn.
With no press modifications, installation and set-up is fast.
For more than 20 years, the David K. Hart Company has been the
diecutting industry innovator for designing, manufacturing and
marketing rotary diecutting, punching and perforating parts and
systems for 25 different makes of web offset presses, collators
and processors. Existing equipment can be adapted to meet any
diecutting challenge - windows, wallet cards, punched holes, jump
perfs and labels. Hartâs workhorse - the model RDML steel rotary
diecutter - is their best seller. Marketed in 30 countries, all
parts are designed to last and made to perform.
The David K. Hart Company was incorporated in February, 1976
by David K. Hart, P.E. Current owner, James Riley, purchased the
company in August, 1995. The companyâs headquarters are in suburban
Philadelphia; they are members of the IBFI and NPES.
